    • 3rd-generation United States Army brat;
    • have lived and/or worked in: California, Alaska*, Alabama, Maryland, Mass-uh-chew-setts, Washington, Maryland, and the Republic of Viet Nam [ * Alaska looks like the world looked before man screwed it up ];
    • served with the United States Army Security Agency in Viet Nam, then was assigned to the National Security Agency at Ft. Meade, MD;
    • lacking 15 units for a BA/BS in Political Science -- somewhat stupidly, went on to other things before completing the degree [ it was a woman ];
    • wrote freelance magazine articles for news-stand magazines for several years after discharge from the Army;
    • was a proofreader, writer, then editor for Northrop Corp., the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, the Naval Ocean Systems Center, and several job shops in San Diego;
    • twenty-nine years customer service experience, both on "the front lines" and as manger;
    • currently reside in a "town" of 126 people in the middle of the Mojave Desert in California;
    • have suffered "clinical" depression 11 out of the last 14 years;
    • ... and if you live in the northern climes (Alaska? Maine? Washington? New Hampshire, Germany? Norway?) and need -- or just want -- a butler, I'm your guy.
